Job title: Manager of EFH and Memory Care FLSA Status: Exempt
Department: Administration – EFH
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Position summary: Manages all aspects of Elizabeth Fletcher House and Memory Care for Uplands Village. Works cooperatively and respectfully with elders, coworkers, families, visitors, and volunteers to create a positive and pleasant environment in the home. Promotes the elders' psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationship building and works with the household team to meet other social service needs of the elder and of the household, always providing support, friendship and kindness for each of the household members. All tasks are performed in accordance with current standards, policies, guidelines and regulations and in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential Skills:
Auditory and visual skills; satisfactory completion of post-offer, pre-employment physical as required.
Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan over a one-to five-year time span.
Management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Technical skills in administrative management, quality assurance, and budget control.
Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and a functional level.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong elder orientation.
Computer proficiency in Word and Excel.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Must have or apply for an ALF Administrator license (with the ability to obtain license within 90 days of hire).
Minimum of five (5) years administrative management experience in related healthcare.
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination.
Possess a working knowledge of Tennessee health regulations.
Must provide demonstrative ability to lead people with a proven track record of successful results.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Seven (7) to ten (10) years administrative management experience in related healthcare.
Masters Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration.
Current license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
Reporting to this position: Certified Nurse Aides, LPN’s, and Housekeeping; coordinates with the clinical team to best meet the elders needs.
