Electro-Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled electro-mechanical assemblers for a 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm) paying **$27-32 (opportunity for higher)** position at a military and defense facility located in Santa Ana/Costa Mesa. This role involves assembling various mechanical and electrical components, with opportunities for overtime during the week and on Saturdays. If you need a 1st shift please still apply and we can see how to get you an interview for that schedule. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical and electrical assemblies in a manufacturing setting, with a preference for experience in aerospace, electronics, or medical industries. + Utilize common hand tools and power tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, depth micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, pressure gauges, multimeters, test boxes or specialized test equipment. + Read wiring diagrams and follow assembly instructions accurately. + Communicate effectively with engineering and production teams. + Adapt to rapidly changing roles and responsibilities in a high-paced work environment. + Work overtime and weekend shifts as required. **Essential Skills** + 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting performing mechanical and/or electrical assemblies. + Proficiency with computer use, including standard browser and word processing applications. + Working knowledge of common electrical components. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with mechanically assembling complex electro-mechanical assemblies, high-quality wire harnesses, test racks, junction boxes, and associated components. + Capability to perform validation and testing of electronic components using equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks. + Familiarity with common air-frame construction techniques such as rivets, mechanical fasteners, nut plates, etc. + Experience in electronic box assembly troubleshooting and writing detailed issue tickets for failures. + Ability to run functional checkouts and tests, diagnosing issues discovered during these processes. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where top performers are brought on direct to support the growing internal team as work orders increase.
