Job Description

A fast-paced, consumer-focused digital team is seeking a Graphic Designer for a three-month contract to support high-volume retail marketing and web design efforts. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in branded web graphics, understands design systems, and can deliver clean, web-ready assets aligned with existing style guides. You’ll work closely with other designers, producers, and stakeholders to create promotional graphics, optimize assets for digital platforms, and contribute to scalable design templates.

• 3+ month contract
• Onsite in Santa Monica, CA
• Rate rage: $60-75 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Design and produce visually compelling promotional graphics for digital retail campaigns

• Optimize digital assets for web performance and fast load times

• Develop and extend templates and style guides in alignment with brand standards

• Handle multiple design requests in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and follow through on feedback

• Ensure all work is pixel-perfect and production-ready

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced web production or retail design environment

• BA/BS in Design or related field

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and web tools such as Dreamweaver/HTML/CSS

• Strong typographic and layout skills, with acute attention to detail

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines

• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Flash and ActionScript (a plus, not required)

• Retail or e-commerce design experience

• Illustration ability is a bonus
