Per Diem RN – Wellness Clinics & Employee Health (Alhambra + Surrounding Locations)
Locations: Alhambra, Anaheim, Riverside & Ontario, CA.
Job Type : Per Diem, 1099 Independent Contractor.
Pay Rate: $50/hr.
Schedule: 
8/20 & 8/27 Riverside, CA (8:00am- 5:30pm)
8/25, 8/28, 9/15, 9/22 Anaheim, CA (9:00am- 6:30pm)
9/5, 9/11, 9/18 Ontario, CA

*Additional clinic shifts will be scheduled throughout the fall season, with future dates to be determined.

Full Description

VitalCheck Wellness, acting as the administrative agent for California Coastal Physicians, is seeking a committed and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide onsite occupational health services for employees of a private business with multiple locations throughout Los Angeles, CA.

This role involves performing blood draws, vaccine administration, PPD screenings, and urine drug testing, while ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and delivering an excellent patient experience. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills and interpersonal abilities to create a supportive, efficient, and professional care environment.
The employer will be a California professional corporation owned and directed by licensed physicians.

Responsibilities

• Administer vaccines (including Influenza, Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Rabies, and COVID-19).
• Perform TB screenings (PPD placement and reading).
• Collect and process specimens for urine drug testing in accordance with protocols.
• Perform blood draws (phlebotomy) accurately and safely.
• Document all patient encounters in the designated EMR system.
• Review and discuss health history, diagnosis, and patient needs.
• Educate patients on follow-up care steps and preventive health practices.
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with service providers.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professionalism at all times.
• Collect and organize clinical data as required.

Requirements:

• Clean active license/ registration for the state of California.
• Active BLS/ ACLS certification required.
• Hands-on experience with:
  Vaccine administration (Tdap, Hep B, Rabies, MMR, etc.)
  TB skin testing (PPD)
  Urine drug testing specimen collection
  Phlebotomy (blood draws)
• Customer service-oriented and has great bedside manner.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Comfortable working independently or with little to no supervision
• Personal laptop or tablet required.
• Flexibility in scheduling with the ability to pick up multiple shifts across different clinic locations as needed.
• Must be able to reliably commute to  Alhambra, CA and other surrounding areas.
